Fire is all we do.

Mike worked on my gas fireplace yesterday and it looks like new now. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonable price for the work. Will use again in the future. Highly recommend.

This Is It House of Fire is a GREAT store for your Barbeque and Fireplace needs. Darin was very accommodating and had so much knowledge to share with my father and I. We purchased a top notch Napoleon Grill from him and have been highly satisfied with his customer service and the product. Knowing we can call him at the store to deal with any issues gives us great peace of mind.

Bought our second fireplace door from Darin because of our first experience. He beat our best price and installed it flawlessly so when we recently moved we went back to replace the extremely dated one the previous owners had. Measuring was simple and the door was shipped promptly. I said I’d install it to save a few bucks but when I did I found the door was built incorrectly. They immediately came out and checked the fit issue. It was determined the manufacturer built it to the wrong dimensions. Darin got a new door built ASAP and shipped. It was perfect and after fighting with the masonry fireplace I got it installed and it looks fantastic. Two words of advice. Do business with the store and pay them to install!

My fireplace which had a burner from 1973, which worked great and produced a tall and wide flame that filled up the entire fire place. This Is It House put in a new fireplace, when another service man said it could not be done. The flame was not what I hoped for, so I was unhappy. Mike and Darin came to my house twice more after the initial installation and made it a lot better. The flame is higher then it was. Darin cares if you are unhappy, that's a refreshing change from some merchants that act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you or to take care of you.

They care and they made it right soon after the initial installation, they did not delay!

I will be a customer for as long as I have my home.

I purchased a direct vent gas insert from them and then had it installed in a former wood burning fireplace. I was able to run the gas and electrical myself but figured I’d leave the finesse of the final install to them. Everything was ready on time and installed as expected. They keep it simple and don’t over-complicate things like a few of the other shops and installers I spoke with. No regrets!

Nov 2023 update: Still loving everything about the fireplace, but I had to make a service call because the remote was not functioning. The response time to stop by to get it working again was VERY quick. To reiterate a comment from my original review...one of my favorite things about this place is that they don’t make simple things difficult—they just showed up with a replacement part and resolved it. Great communication and professionalism all around.
